Building Financial Futures Since 2019

We started with a simple belief – that tracking your financial goals shouldn't feel overwhelming or disconnected from real life. Six years later, we're still here because that belief drives everything we do.

Why We Started harvenaloqi

Back in 2019, our founder Sarah was juggling three different spreadsheets just to track her house deposit progress. She'd spend Sunday mornings updating cells, cross-referencing bank statements, and still felt disconnected from her actual progress.

The breaking point came when she realized she'd been consistently underestimating her progress for months. All that anxiety about being behind schedule – completely unnecessary. That's when she knew there had to be a better way.

harvenaloqi wasn't born from a boardroom brainstorm or market research. It came from real frustration with tools that made financial tracking feel like accounting homework rather than progress toward dreams.

What Drives Our Work

These aren't just words on our website. They're the principles that shape every feature we build and every conversation we have with our users.

Clarity Over Complexity

Financial progress should be immediately obvious, not buried in confusing charts or jargon. We believe understanding your numbers shouldn't require a finance degree.

Progress Over Perfection

Life rarely follows a perfect savings plan. Our tools adapt to real circumstances – job changes, unexpected expenses, or shifting priorities.

Support Over Sales

We're not here to sell you investment products or push financial services. We're here to help you track progress toward whatever matters most to you.

Sarah Kellerman, Lead Financial Strategist at harvenaloqi

Meet Sarah Kellerman

Sarah brings twelve years of financial planning experience to harvenaloqi, but she didn't start her career thinking about goal tracking software. She spent her early years helping families navigate major financial decisions at a Perth credit union.

What struck her most wasn't the complexity of financial products, but how often people felt disconnected from their own progress. They knew their account balances but couldn't see the bigger picture of where they were headed.

Today, Sarah leads our approach to making financial tracking feel more like progress and less like homework. She still lives in Perth, still starts her day with spreadsheets (old habits), and still believes that understanding your money shouldn't require a calculator.

How We Build With You in Mind

Every feature starts with a real user problem. We don't build for the sake of building – we solve actual frustrations that people face when tracking their financial goals.

User research and feedback analysis process
Financial tracking interface design process
Testing and refinement of tracking tools
1

Listen to Real Frustrations

We spend time with users who are actually tracking financial goals – not focus groups, but real conversations about what's working and what's driving them crazy.

2

Test Before We Build

Every new feature gets prototyped and tested with small groups first. If it doesn't make tracking easier or clearer, it doesn't make it to the platform.

3

Refine Based on Use

We watch how features perform in real use, not just initial feedback. Sometimes what sounds good in theory creates confusion in practice, so we adjust accordingly.
